It was a really nice car, but there was way, way too much to go wrong for me to want one, at least without accepting that I might bankrupt myself servicing it. The pages and pages of service records for electrical glitches were a bit terrifying.

That was with the more reliable non-turbo engine too. His might’ve been an outlier, but it was enough to make me wary of E60 body wiring harnesses at least
